Carlos was awesome, very helpful, knowledgeable, informative, friendly, good company. He was thoughtful about our needs and when feeling some illness he had helpful suggestions and was very professional. We felt well taken care of and highly recommend him as a guide. Pedro was an incredible cook and the meals on the trek were awesome. Food/ meals at restaurants were also great, snacks were just right and a good supply of water. We had a great size tent, sleeping bags of perfect warmth, Thermarest great, baño, and shelter great and loved the water bottles we were given.
Highlights included the trekking for sure, the way Carlos introduced us to Machu Picchu when we reached the sun gate, and the shared enjoyment of flora and fauna along the way. Awesome experience of completing a trek I’ve wanted to do for a long time and spending it with my son and such a wonderful team that felt so unified
