I would give them more stars if I could. We did 2 adventures with them. The 1st was the mountain e-bike tour of Cusco. We mountain bike at home all the time but never riden an e-bike. This seemed like a great opportunity to try it out. Our guide, Juan Carlo, was awesome! He took us on some beautiful trails where we had amazing views of the city. He was very in tune with our skill level and considerate of our needs. Now I’m searching for an e-bike at home to buy!!!!!
The 2nd tour we did was the one-day whitewater rafting trip on the Apurimac River. The road just to get there was an adventure in itself. The river is in a gorgeous canyon. Our guide, Victor, made us feel totally secure and safe. We also had a safety person in a kayak accompany us. They prepared a wonderful breakfast on the drive there, then a lunch that way exceeded our expectations halfway through the river. We even pulled over in our raft to check out a beautiful waterfall. All of their personal and safety equipment was in top condition, which reflects their ability to treat clients with care and respect. I highly recommend Amazonas Explorer! They offer several adventures and we’ll definitely book more with them next time we visit Peru.
