Highlights
Your guide will meet you at Cusco airport. You will travel together to your Sacred Valley hotel, on your private bus. The transfer takes 90 minutes, but you can stop to see some things and for lunch along the way.
After checking into your hotel, you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful rural area.

This ride is perfect for anyone who enjoys getting out on a bike and wants to experience the beauty and tranquility of the Sacred Valley of the Incas but in a fun, healthy, and carbon-friendly way.
Its versatility means it can be easily adapted to suit every level and age.
The day begins exploring the ruins and market of Pisac before continuing on to Taray, we will unload the bikes, kit up, and follow a lovely dirt track between local indigenous villages, Inca ruins, and historic haciendas. The support vehicle is on hand throughout the day, allowing you to carry any extra gear or weary riders.

Today, you head to our watersports center on the shores of Lake Huaypo and choose between exploring the lake on our Stand Up Paddleboards or Sit On Top Kayaks. for some active options. Set amongst fields of corn with fantastic views across to the snow-capped Vilcanota mountains, this is a relaxing rural setting and the perfect place to acclimatize and enjoy some fun on the water.
In the afternoon you will experience a Pachamanca or a traditional Peruvian pit roast, set next to our lake-side dining area. The day ends with a stop at the pre-Inca salt mines of Maras and the concentric circles of Moray.

Your day begins with an early morning private transfer to the train station for your train ride towards Machu Picchu. At km104 we alight, pass through the control and start our walk past the interesting ruins at Chachabamba. Following the ancient Inca trail, we ascend through the tropical cloud forest and climb high above the roaring Urubamba River. Whilst walking all you need to carry is a daypack.
Upon arrival to the ruins themselves, your guide will give you an extensive walking tour of Machu Picchu and explain the history of the Incas and their culture.

Free Morning in Cusco
Enjoy a free morning in Cusco for some rest and recuperation. Whether your interest is exploring Inca ruins, visiting Colonial churches, bargain hunting in artisan markets, visiting the chocolate museum, or just relaxing over a coffee on a terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas, Cusco has something for everyone.
Cusco Art Workshop in La Mestiza (Private)
Take a short Cusco art workshop and work with a local artist to decorate your very own Pucara Bull at the famous La Mestiza cafe, led by a member of the Totemiq Art Collective, collective preserving local art history by fusing it with contemporary designs.
This is a great way to create your own very special souvenir and pass a fun, relaxing, and educational two hours.

Your day starts with a private transfer through the Andes to the Apurimac River, the true source of the Amazon. The views in the drive alone are amazing, but once you experience floating through a 3,000-meter canyon with world-class rapids, it will surely be a highlight of your trip.
Along the way, we stop to explore side canyons, have lunch on a deserted beach before enjoying more fun rapids to our take out at Puente Huallpacachaca where we celebrate our day with cold drinks, before jumping in the vehicles for the journey back to the hotel.

This morning you will have an opportunity to relax and independently explore the pedestrian-friendly city of Cusco before starting your 2-hour city tour.
In the afternoon explore the incredible monoliths of the fortress that surrounds Cusco, before seeing some of the most precise Inca stones in the area that made-up one of the holiest sites to the Inca’s, and learning more about the royal Inca city, that was thought to be “the navel of the universe”, by the ancient Inca.

In the morning you will be picked up and at the appropriate hour, privately transferred to the Cusco airport for your 40-minute flight to Puerto Maldonado, a small city in the Amazon basin.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by a representative of your lodge, where a short drive will take you to their check-in area before continuing your journey. Following a 1-hour drive by bus and a 2.5-hour boat ride in a motorized canoe, you will arrive at your lodge.
This afternoon you can join a three to five-kilometer hike that leads to sweeping views of the Tambopata winding its way into the lowlands. The forest on this trail, regenerating on the old bamboo forest, is good for spotting various species of monkeys such as the Howler Monkey and Dusky Titi Monkey. In the evening, you will have the option to take a night hike, when most of the mammals are active and can be seen with the help of your guide.

Included: All land and river transport, small group jungle tours with English speaking guide, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water, and lodging.
The jungle tours will be arranged depending on the weather. On clear mornings, we recommend starting with one of the largest Macaw clay licks are known (as featured in National Geographic). Followed by a 5 Km monkey hike, and a trip to an island upriver to become acquainted with the local birds.
The day ends, with a night lecture, for an in-depth look at the biology of Macaws, their feed habits, theories for the use of clay licks, and feeding ecology.
Overnight at Jungle Lodge
Included: All land and river transport, small group jungle tours with English speaking guide, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water, and lodging.
Stepping carefully over the winding “highways” of peaceful leaf-cutter ants, the Rainforest Master Hike will leave you with unforgettable memories and a profound sense of accomplishment. Due to their years of local experience, our Tambopata Research Center guides know everything about the forest. They’ll spot the tiniest bird hiding in the canopy, the most elusive monkey, and the most spectacular plant life.
Twilight descends early in the jungle. Under the thick tree cover of the rainforest, darkness falls quickly, when the light cannot slip through the foliage any longer. Now, as the afternoon slips into the evening, you’re about to see one of the world’s most spectacular sunsets. The Sunset Cruise floats down the wide river, countless oranges and pinks reflecting off the water in lovely patterns.

In the morning you will take a 2.5-hour canoe ride back to the river port, where you will catch a 1-hour bus ride back to the airport of Puerto Maldonado, to check-in for your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival to Lima, your services can either continue upon request or you can check-in for your international flight back home.
