Our new In-Depth Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu Adventure is the perfect “self-isolating” way to explore and learn about the land of the Incas in a safe, relaxing, yet active and fun way. We believe this is the future of traveling in the “Covid-Era” and the “new normal” way to experience Machu Picchu for adventurous travelers. The trip can be adapted for adventurous families, couples or groups and can be made as challenging or as comfortable as needed.
Transfer from Cuzco Airport to your accommodation :

The day starts with a short drive to the village of Pisac. Perched above the town are perfectly preserved Incan ruins that offer valuable insights to the Incan culture. Below is the village of Pisac, known for it’s daily artisan market and, if time permits, a stop at our favorite local bakery to try fresh empanadas. Pisac is famous for it work with ceramics and also handmade local weavings
Following a full instruction in the use of our state of the art, Haibike, full-suspension, electric-assist, mountain bikes, we don our gloves and helmets and set off, with plenty of time to practice and learn how to ride these amazingly fun bikes. Starting our E-bike journey in the small village of Taray. Our route follows a rarely used trail along the far side of the Sacred Valley.
En-route, we’ll enjoy some snacks and a delicious picnic lunch overlooking the rio Urubamba, before arriving at the small village Huayllabamba. If feeling strong and time permitting, we can continue onto Yucay and even Urubamba if you so wish.
Our new child-sized e-bikes now makes this trip suitable for all ages and abilities.

E-Biking the Sacred Valley – Ollantaytambo to Urubamba:
This morning you will be privately transferred with your guide to the town of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Incan city that is still inhabited today, earning the name ‘ the living museum’.
Right outside of Ollantaytambo, there’s a dirt road that leads to several indigenous villages and Incan ruins that very few people have the opportunity to explore. Reuniting with your full-suspension e-bikes we will explore the rarely used dirt road, passing Inca terraces through the mountainous countryside while meeting the traditional, Quechua speaking locals.

Watersports at Lake Huaypo, Moray & Maras ruins:
In the morning you will be privately transferred to the shores of Lake Huaypo, a high mountain lake nestled below the glaciated peaks of the Vilcanota mountain range, where our watersport base camp is located. Upon arrival you will choose between a SUP (Stand-Up Paddle board) or a sit-on-top kayak. After exploring the lake you will have a chance to change into clothes before sitting down to a private lunch surrounded by the terraced fields of the Andes.
For lunch we are serving a Pachamanca, a traditional Andean meal of native potatoes, heirloom vegetables and meat roasted in the ground on a bed of heated rocks.
After lunch you will be privately transferred along dirt roads to the concentric agricultural Incan ruins of Moray and the pre-Inca salt mines of Maras.

Royal Inca Trail (km104) to Machu Picchu 1D:
Early morning you will be privately transferred to the train station to start your adventure to Machu Picchu. At KM 104 we alight, pass through the control and start our walk past the ruins at Chachabamba.
The ancient Inca Trail ascends through the tropical cloud forest, climbing above the roaring Urubamba River. An initially challenging ascent is rewarded as we reach Wiñay Wayna, a beautiful Inca ruin full of swallows and orchids. Continuing the contour path through the cloud forest we arrive to Inti Puncu, ‘the gateway of the Sun’ and our first glimpse of Machu Picchu.
Catching the afternoon bus to Machu Picchu town and transfer to the train station, we catch a late train back to Ollantaytambo, back to your accommodation, where you will be met with a dinner prepared by your private chef in your private accommodation.

Free Day in Sacred Valley :
Today you have a guide, driver and vehicle at your disposal to explore the Sacred Valley. Checkout some of our recommended day hikes to obscure ruins, explore the tiny villages that surround your accommodation, go to a local market. Or simply relax and enjoy your accommodation.

Raft the Apurimac – Black Canyon Section 1-day:
This is a unique chance to paddle a 1 day section of the mighty Rio Apurimac, through a 3000m deep canyon on the true source of the Amazon River. This is full day of total adventure and you will be rewarded with spectacular views, amazing whitewater, pristine beaches and great memories.
An early morning pick-up is rewarded with spectacular scenery on the drive to the Apurimac canyon. Upon arrival to the river, you will receive a full safety talk and instruction in the art of white water rafting, before heading into the canyon in search of adventure.
Traveling through massive canyons we descend world class rapids, interspersed with gentle floats, elusive wildlife and dramatic scenery. Stopping through the day to explore side canyons, we have lunch on a deserted beach before enjoying more fun rapids to our take out at Puente Huallpacachaca.
We finish celebrating the day with cold drinks, before jumping in the vehicles for the journey back to your accommodation.
Included: Private transfer, white-water safety equipment, wetsuit, helmet, boots, buoyancy aid, splash jacket, Swift Water Rescue trained English-speaking guide, snacks, water, breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sacred Valley to Cusco transfer:
At the appropriate hour you will be picked up and privately transferred from the Sacred valley to the Cusco airport. Along the way we will stop to visit the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, known for it’s massive Inca stones and its fabulous viewpoint over the town of Cusco.
After we will continue to the Cusco airport to check-in for your flight back home.
