Miguel was born and raised in Cusco, and is a proud Cusqueño. He comes from a family of hospitality workers which has given him a great appreciation for all levels of worker, as well as consumers.
After gaining his degree in accounting he joined the Amazonas Explorer team as an administration assistant- with both the admin and the operations team. He inputs receipts and overlooks all the accounting for both teams.
Something Miguel particularly likes about working with Amazonas Explorer is the commitment to both environment and innovation. From his very first day, Miguel has been an active member of our community causes, from tree planting to cleaning the route between Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu.
