Lara and Oliver – the boss’s kids have been used as crash test dummies on all the family trips from a very early age. Lara completed the full Inca trail at age 12 years old, and Oliver at the ripe age of 10.
Their portfolios are rather similar to the dog’s include: kayaking the lower Apurimac, Urubamba & Rio Madre de Dios in Manu, SUP on Lake Huaypo and Lake Pomancanchis, Trekking Choquequirao, Vilcabamba, Ausangate, Salkantay and Lares treks. Any biking trip from Pumamarca, Inca Avalanche, Lares, Andahuayillias.
Whilst awaiting university, both were been most helpful in the office. Both are bilingual and trained in all trips. While Lara can assist in most roles from airport transfers to risk assessments, and she has been the student group coordinator for the last two years. Oliver is more helpful in working on the behind-the-scenes, fixing spreadsheets and updating the database.
Lara is a keen biker, winning the 2019 Cusco Enduro Series Ladies Championship and has completed the Inca Avalanche DH bike race three times.
Oliver is also a lover of the bike, placing in the 2019 Cusco Enduro Series Championship and completing the Inca Avalanche DH bike race four times.
