Explore deep into the Rainforest as you search for monkeys, macaws, caiman, jaguars and more. The three day rainforest adventure can provide a great introduction to the amazon and all its creatures, you can learn about the efforts to protect the wildlife and understand this delicate ecosystem better.

At Puerto Maldonado you will be picked up from the airport, to begin your Amazon adventure with a short boat ride navigating the Madre de Dios River to reach your jungle lodge. You will have time to unpack and relax before you commence the search for wildlife near the lodge.
In the Afternoon take a walk along jungle trails, an introduction to the intricate ecosystems of the Amazon basin. On this journey you may find monkeys, snakes, tarantulas and more.
At night, you will take a boat ride along the shores to search for caiman, and other nocturnal creatures.

Spend the morning visiting lake Sandoval, on a dug-out wooden canoe quietly paddle through picture-perfect palms. This lake is home to many species of birds, the endangered giant river otter, red howler monkeys, red-bellied macaws, anacondas, side-neck turtles, and black caimans amongst others. Return in time for lunch.
Later in the afternoon you can explore trails to find even more creatures.
At night time you can go on a night walk to find a different set of creatures, here you ar likely to find tarantulas, frogs and other small creatures.

Enjoy your last morning waking to the sounds of the rainforest as parakeets chatter away in the trees and monkeys swing through the treetops. Get your final chance to explore the great biodeversity of Peru and reflect on the amazing adventure you’ve had.
Depending on the time of your departure flight, lunch can also be arranged. We then proceed to travel back to Puerto Maldonado by boat in order to catch your flights out.
