Yaquiline, or Yaqui, is instantly recognisable for her love of books and her strong palate — she famously enjoys peppers with her lunch every single day! She is our number one Operations Assistant and an essential part of keeping everything running smoothly.
Yaqui multi-tasks within the operations team. Her responsibilities include preparing and checking first aid kits for every trip, writing and updating the whiteboards that guide our storeman and cooks on daily trip requirements, coordinating hotel transfers, and helping track down lost luggage when needed.
One of her most appreciated talents is her attention to thoughtful details: Yaqui is in charge of selecting gifts for special clients and organising cakes for both client and office birthdays. As Operations Assistant, she also shows remarkable adaptability, seamlessly supporting María, our Head of Operations, across her many tasks.
