Jose Antonio was born in the Peruvian rainforest near the City of Cusco in Perú where he grew up and qualified to become a guide, something he has worked in since 1998. He guides in both the Peruvian rainforest and the Andes with particular interest in combining flora, fauna and birdwatching into trekking, biking and traditional tours to give a little extra something to people´s vacations. He is also a very keen mountain bike racer- fortunately being in the veteran’s category avoids him constantly getting beaten by his son and our younger guides in the races.
