Neo the dog was found on the street outside the office early one morning in May 2017. She has since become a valuable part of the team.
Her portfolio includes: Rafting the Urubamba River, Canoeing the lower Apurimac, wild swimming & SUP on Lake Huaypo and Lake Pomancanchis. Also trekking the Vilcabamba, Ausangate, Salkantay, Waqrapucara and Lares treks.
Her favourite trips are biking trips from any of the classic Pumamarca, Inca Avalanche, Lares and Andahuaylillas trails -(so long as those unnaturally fast e-bikes are not involved). She is also a member of the ‘Los Madrugeros’ dawn, uphill biking team.
She has even done her bit for the planet by assisting at seven of the annual Queuña Raymi tree-planting festivals.
Neo can be spotted in a lot of the exploratory trip videos. Our new dog-friendly itineraries have all been tried and tested by her.
When not adventuring, she can be found sleeping in the sunny spot in the office.
